Includes the $40,000 fee, $5,000 reserve, opening and local advertising, and 6 to 9 months of operating funds. Assumes an approved leased storefront of 1,000 to 1,250 sq. ft. Both offers share the startup-budget assumptions explained below.

Due at signing and generally nonrefundable. If ATWORK terminates for failed required training, a 50% refund less its out-of-pocket expenses may apply if you and your owners sign required releases. Eligible U.S. veterans receive a 20% discount.

Selected fees

  • Royalty7% of Gross Revenues monthly; 10% on full-time placements

    Accounted for by the 25th for the preceding month. Rates may rise up to 0.5 percentage point every six months, effective January 1 or July 1, with increases capped at 1 point in any two-year period. Qualifying low-margin customers may receive discounts; that program can change or end.

  • Advertising contributionNational fund: 0.5% of Gross Revenues monthly

    Approved local spending starts at opening, separate from the national fund. The minimum applies to each franchise agreement and additional territory; ATWORK may increase it for an added territory. ATWORK may direct payment to itself, its designee, or the Marketing Fund instead.

Your role

Operate through a business entity. Your Operating Partner supervises full-time unless you appoint a trained full-time Manager.

Your Operating Partner must be an owner with at least 51% ownership and voting power.

Recruit, screen, test, interview, hire, and assign workers while building relationships with employer clients.
Manager requirements
Managers must complete training and meet any additional qualifications ATWORK sets; no equity ownership is required.
