The US-dollar estimate includes the franchise fee, opening marketing and three months of operating funds. It assumes a leased space of about 1,200 square feet with HVAC, lighting, outlets and phone wiring installed. Equipment financing assumptions and budget exclusions are explained below.

Selected fees

  • Royalty6% of Gross Sales monthly; after month 6, at least $1,200 per month.

    Calculated on the previous month's Gross Sales and due on the 10th. After the first six months, you pay the greater of 6% of Gross Sales or $1,200 each month, regardless of sales levels.

  • Advertising contribution1.5% of monthly Gross Sales to the Brand Fund.

    Due on the 10th based on the previous month's Gross Sales. Separate from local marketing spending. Fund spending is not guaranteed to benefit your store directly or locally.

  • Local marketingAfter the first 3 months: greater of 5% of Gross Sales or $500 per month.

Manager requirements
Your manager must be a full-time employee, pass initial training and sign a noncompetition agreement.
