Selected fees

  • Royalty8% of studio Gross Sales

    Gross Sales includes revenue regardless of collection, certain rebates and imputed sales from business-interruption insurance. Actual customer returns and credits, and taxes collected and remitted, are excluded. Payment-processing fees cannot be deducted.

  • Advertising contributionBrand Fund: 2% of studio Gross Sales, with increases allowed up to 4%

  • Local marketingAt least $2,500 per studio per month for local advertising and promotions

    Separate from the Brand Fund and opening campaign. Qualifying spending follows brand rules and must be documented on request. The franchisor may collect the full amount to spend locally, or collect shortfalls for local marketing or the Brand Fund. Participation in any established or approved advertising cooperative is required and may add uncapped spending.

Your Operating Principal must own at least 10% and have authority over all studio business decisions.
Main responsibilities
A required, trained owner or manager must personally supervise on site whenever the studio is open.
Manager requirements
Appoint a trained Designated Manager; changes to the manager or Operating Principal require prior approval.
