Due at signing and nonrefundable. Active military members and honorably discharged veterans qualify for a $5,000 discount on their first studio. BODYBAR may change or discontinue the discount.

  • Advertising contributionNational Marketing Fund: 2% of Gross Sales, paid weekly

    BODYBAR may increase the contribution to 4% of weekly Gross Sales by written notice. Local spending is separate. Fund spending need not benefit your studio or region in proportion to your contributions.

  • Local marketingAt least $3,000 per month on average over a 12-month period

    Paid to third parties. Agency, management and service fees, opening expenses, employee incentives, donations, equipment, paid website listings and social media platforms/materials do not count. Required digital ads use designated vendors. If established, a cooperative is mandatory; contributions count toward local spending and may exceed the minimum.

Your role

Your Operating Principal must own at least 25% of the franchise entity unless BODYBAR consents otherwise.

Owner involvement
Without an approved manager, the Operating Principal must supervise full time and cannot engage in another business.
Main responsibilities
Oversee class delivery, instructor performance and compliance with BODYBAR standards.
Manager requirements
Managers need written approval, must meet BODYBAR’s criteria and complete required training.
