Collection intervals may change. Gross Sales excludes remitted sales tax, good-faith customer credits and Teacher Training revenue. Tax gross-ups may apply. Minimum royalty or fund payments may apply regardless of sales.
Advertising contribution2% of Gross Sales to the Brand Development Fund, payable weekly
The rate may increase on 60 days' written notice, within the combined marketing cap. Future advertising co-ops require participation and contributions within that cap. The royalty's Gross Sales exclusions and tax gross-up rules also apply.
Local marketingMonthly spend: the greater of $1,500 or 2% of prior-month Gross Sales
Use approved ads in your territory; agency and vendor fees do not count. The franchisor may collect the spend or increase it on notice. Fund, local and co-op requirements share a 7% monthly Gross Sales cap. Reduce local spend only after written notice is received and only as needed to meet the cap. Earlier excess is not refunded; resume full spending when the cap is no longer exceeded.
