Investment and fees

What it costs to open and operate

Ask about investment and fees

Upfront investment

Total initial investment

$515,789 – $729,603

USD. Includes the franchise fee and three months of operating funds, excluding your draw or salary and your manager's salary if you are not the manager. More working capital may be needed; three months is not a break-even forecast. Both offers share the budget assumptions explained below.

Initial franchise fee

$40,000

Normally counted within the total above, not added on top — confirm in the source.

USD. Due in a lump sum when you sign; fully earned when paid and nonrefundable. Eligible military and minority owners with at least 51% ownership may receive a 20% discount, subject to franchisor approval. Discounts cannot be combined and may be changed or denied.

Selected fees

  • Royalty6% of Gross Receipts, payable monthly

Starts first full calendar month after opening; may be collected weekly on notice. Gross Receipts include memberships, products, services, gift cards and business-interruption insurance payments. Excludes remitted sales/use/privilege taxes, refunds except chargebacks and tips paid to employees.

  • Advertising contribution2% of Gross Receipts, payable monthly to the Brand Marketing Fund

The rate may rise to 4% on 30 days' written notice. This is separate from local marketing. The franchisor controls fund spending and need not spend in your area or provide benefits proportional to your contributions.

  • Local marketing$2,000/month advertising fee plus monthly local spend of at least 2% of Gross Receipts

Both amounts may increase on 30 days' written notice. The fee funds paid digital advertising; additional spending must use approved local programs. Required cooperative contributions count toward local spend and may exceed its minimum. These and the royalty are selected major costs, not a complete operating budget.

These are selected fees, not the complete fee schedule. Review the full FDD for all fees and conditions.

Ownership and support

What owning this franchise involves

Your role

Owner involvement
You or your Operating Partner supervise full time unless an approved, trained Designated Manager does so.
Main responsibilities
You retain control of management and must resume full-time supervision if the Designated Manager leaves.
Manager requirements
An entity must name an approved Operating Partner with at least 25% ownership and voting interest.
