Selected fees

  • RoyaltyMonthly: greater of 6% of Net Billings or a $500-$2,000 minimum, based on months after opening.

    Monthly minimums after opening: $500 through month 12; $1,000 in months 13-24; $1,500 in months 25-36; $2,000 from month 37. Reporting is monthly but may change with 30 days' notice. These are selected major costs, not a complete operating budget.

  • Advertising contributionBrand Fund: 2% of Net Billings per monthly reporting period.

    The franchisor may set the Brand Fund rate up to 2% of Net Billings. This contribution is separate from local spending. Its reporting period follows royalty reporting, which may change with 30 days' notice.

  • Local marketingGreater of $750 per month or 1% of Net Billings.

    Begins when initial training is complete. Spend on approved local advertising; the franchisor may collect shortfalls. Cooperative fees count toward this commitment, but a two-thirds member vote can approve a higher cooperative fee. Separately, at least $1,000 in approved pre-opening marketing is required and included in the opening estimate.

An approved Responsible Owner oversees the business, while a Designated Manager supervises daily operations.

Manager requirements
An approved, trained, full-time Designated Manager must be onsite during normal business hours.
