Selected fees

  • Royalty7% of monthly Gross Revenue, subject to a minimum after month 6

    Due by the fifth of each month for the previous month. After six months, pay the greater of 7% or the monthly minimum. For multiple businesses, the minimum applies separately based on each opening date.

  • Advertising contribution2% of monthly Gross Revenue to the National Brand Fund

  • Local marketing$18,000 prepaid for months 1-12; minimum $1,200/month afterward, or $1,500 if standards are missed

    The nonrefundable $18,000 is due before opening and funds $1,500/month of first-year digital ads. From month 13, spend $1,500/month if below the required performance standard until it is met. Spend at least $300 on opening ads within 60 days of opening. A future cooperative may require member-set, approved contributions up to 2% of Gross Revenue, separate from the brand fund.
