Upfront investment

Total initial investment

$99,600 – $185,600

USD estimate includes the fee, six months of working capital with owner and one staff member's compensation, and six months of office rent plus deposit and last month's rent. Assumes a leased 500 to 1,000-square-foot office using Pennsylvania rents; rates vary nationwide.

Initial franchise fee

$49,500 – $54,500

Normally counted within the total above, not added on top — confirm in the source.

The $49,500 fee covers one territory sized to the greater of 250,000 people or 25,000 seniors aged 65 or older. Add $5,000 to increase population up to 300,000. Due in full at signing, fully earned when paid, and nonrefundable.

Selected fees

  • Royalty5% of Gross Receipts weekly; $100/week minimum from the second calendar year after opening.

Gross Receipts excludes sales tax, actual client-expense reimbursements, and specified billing adjustments. Annual sales quotas can trigger a royalty shortfall charge. The weekly minimum starts at signing for renewals, conversions, and purchases of existing franchises.

  • Advertising contribution1% of Gross Receipts weekly; after the first anniversary, the greater of $75/week or 1%.

Starts 30 days after opening. The 1% rate applies through the first anniversary, then the weekly minimum applies. For renewals, purchases, or transfers of existing franchises, payments start at signing. This fund contribution is separate from local spending.

  • Local marketingAt least $12,000/year, or $6,000 if qualified, plus a required six-month program.

The $6,000 minimum applies if you hire a dedicated sales and marketing professional or two related adult family members jointly operate. You cannot count yourself as that professional; one family operator is expected to handle marketing. Use approved materials. GHC may collect annual spending shortfalls and spend them locally. Program fees do not count toward this minimum.

These are selected fees, not the complete fee schedule. Review the full FDD for all fees and conditions.
