Selected fees

  • Royalty6% of Gross Sales, paid twice monthly

Gross Sales excludes remitted sales taxes, approved promotional discounts, tips and cross-Shop redemptions. Taxes may require extra payment. If alcohol royalties are barred, the rate on other sales rises to preserve royalties. Minimum royalty or advertising-fund payments apply regardless of sales.

  • Advertising contributionBrand Development Fund: 2% of Gross Sales, paid twice monthly

The stated contribution is 2%, with a 2% cap. It is separate from local marketing spending. The fund does not directly promote your Shop or its marketing area. Royalty and marketing are selected major obligations, not a complete operating budget.

  • Local marketingGreater of $2,500 per month or 3% of monthly Gross Sales

Spend on pre-approved marketing within your territory. If a designated cooperative is established, participation is required; contributions count toward and cannot exceed the local requirement. Separate opening marketing of $23,000 to $30,000 is required from 120 days before through 30 days after opening and is included in the investment estimate.

These are selected fees, not the complete fee schedule. Review the full FDD for all fees and conditions.
