Selected fees
Gross Sales include memberships, services, gift cards, products and customer payments retained by approved third-party marketers. Discounts outside brand-approved programs count at full suggested retail price. Excludes remitted sales taxes, customer refunds and credits, and service-provider tips.
Separate from the supplemental fund or local-spending obligation. These are selected major ongoing costs, not a complete operating budget.
Local spending applies while you do not contribute to the supplemental fund; both alternatives are separate from the national fund. Supplemental participation renews every two years unless you give written notice at least 90 days before term end. Advertising needs brand approval. If a fund ends, its spending obligation continues locally or through required cooperative contributions.
