With three or more outlets owned and open, royalty is 6.5% of Gross Sales for all three. Gross Sales includes business-interruption insurance proceeds; excludes good-faith refunds, taxes collected and paid to authorities, customer price credits, and manufacturer or supplier rebates.
Advertising contributionA system-wide Marketing Fund contribution is required.
The fund supports brand marketing, separate from your local spending. Contributions do not guarantee direct or proportional benefit to your center. The franchisor may allocate fund contributions to cooperative advertising.
Local marketingAt least 2% of Gross Sales monthly, paid directly
Advertising requires approval and is separate from the Marketing Fund contribution. You must participate in any regional advertising cooperative established for your area; local spending may be allocated to it. Opening advertising requires at least $8,000 before or within the first month of opening.
