Selected fees

  • Royalty7% of weekly Gross Sales or $250 per week, whichever is greater

Paid weekly by automatic bank debit. The rate may rise during the agreement, up to 10%. Continuing to operate after the agreement expires triggers a 10% rate until a new agreement is signed. These and marketing are selected major costs, not a complete operating budget.

  • Advertising contribution1% of monthly Gross Sales or $250 per center per month, whichever is greater

The required contribution may increase to 3% of Gross Sales. The Creative Fund pays for marketing concepts, websites and materials, not ad placement. It is separate from local spending and is due with the month's first weekly royalty payment.

  • Local marketing$5,000/month for new centers' first 6 months; age-based rates and minimums follow

From month 7 through the first three years: spend 7% of monthly Gross Sales or $2,100/month, whichever is greater. After three years: 3.5% of monthly Gross Sales or $1,500/month, whichever is greater. Separate from the Creative Fund. In the first year, use approved vendors and follow the agreed marketing strategy. Advertising materials require prior written approval.

These are selected fees, not the complete fee schedule. Review the full FDD for all fees and conditions.
