Selected fees

  • Royalty5% of prior-month Gross Sales, due monthly on the 5th

    Weekly payment may be required. Gross Sales excludes collected taxes and includes 70% of full retail value for personal-use products or services and gift certificates or coupons discounted over 30%; third-party seller fees are not deducted.

  • Advertising contribution2% of Gross Sales, paid monthly to the Brand Fund

    Due with royalty; weekly payment may be required. Increases have no cap and need approval by a majority of all franchisees and two-thirds of voters, lasting at least one year. Centers accepted into the discretionary Support Program receive a waiver for the first 12 months after signing.

  • Local marketingGreater of 2% of prior-calendar-year Gross Sales or $6,000 per calendar year

    First calendar year is prorated. On written notice, PostNet may require the greater of 2% of the corresponding prior-year quarter's Gross Sales or $1,500 per quarter. Quarterly excess carries forward within that year. Spending shortfalls must be paid to the Brand Fund. These are selected major costs, not a complete operating budget.

Your role

You may serve as Designated Manager or appoint an approved, trained non-owner.

Owner involvement
The Designated Manager oversees daily operations and averages at least 40 hours weekly, with leave exceptions.
Main responsibilities
Local promotional activities require at least eight hours weekly; PostNet may change this requirement.
Manager requirements
Hiring or replacing a Designated Manager needs prior written approval; each manager must complete training.
