Investment and fees
What it costs to open and operate
Upfront investment
Total initial investment
$187,701 – $606,693
Assumes leased premises; includes the $49,000 franchise fee and $17,000 opening marketing budget. Construction costs vary with site condition, size, and local rates; no specific delivery condition or landlord improvement allowance is assumed. See startup-budget details below.
Initial franchise fee
$49,000
Normally counted within the total above, not added on top — confirm in the source.
Standard new-center fee, due at signing and nonrefundable. When buying multiple new centers together, each additional center's fee is $39,000. Separate agreements and payment of all fees at the same time are required. The franchisor does not finance this fee.
Selected fees
Royalty7% of gross revenues, collected monthly
Gross revenues include service and product receipts, excluding sales taxes paid to authorities and actual customer refunds or credits. If you manage a professional corporation's center, the basis includes that corporation's and its centers' receipts, even when absent from your own books.
Advertising contribution1% of gross revenues monthly; may increase to 2%
Separate from local marketing spending. The gross-revenue basis described for royalty also applies here. Fund spending need not benefit your center in proportion to its contributions.
Local marketing$2,500 per month or 5% of gross revenues, whichever is greater
Payable to the franchisor or required vendors for marketing within your territory. The royalty's gross-revenue basis also applies here. You must join any established advertising cooperative covering your center; its contributions are separate and do not count toward required local spending.
These are selected fees, not the complete fee schedule. Review the full FDD for all fees and conditions.
Figures are as disclosed for the period shown; unknown or undisclosed items are labelled, never shown as $0. No earnings, profit or payback figures are shown. Revenue is not profit.
