Total initial investment

USD. The opening estimate covers the first three months and includes the fee and $25,000 to $50,000 in additional funds for an owner-operated business. Excludes owner or operations manager pay and real estate costs. Listed expenses are nonrefundable.

Initial franchise fee

USD. The opening estimate uses this population-based fee range. Payment is due at signing and generally nonrefundable. Eligible US veterans receive $10,000 off their first franchise fee.

Selected fees

  • Royalty8% of Gross Revenues, with a $2,000 monthly minimum

    The minimum is waived for the first 12 months of operation if you remain in good standing under the agreement. Gross Revenues excludes taxes paid to government authorities and customer refunds.

  • Advertising contributionNational fund: 1% of monthly Gross Revenues

    Increases require at least 90 days' written notice. This contribution is separate from local spending; the fund need not spend in your area or in proportion to your contribution.

  • Local marketingGreater of $1,000 or 4% of Gross Revenues each month

    Spending must use approved advertising. Rytech may increase the percentage to 6%. Membership is required if a regional cooperative is formed; contributions count toward local spending, though members may vote to spend above the local requirement.
