Selected fees

  • Royalty6% of Gross Sales, paid weekly

Due Monday for the prior week. Gross Sales includes business-related revenue, credit sales regardless of collection, and business-interruption insurance proceeds. Customer taxes remitted to taxing authorities and bona fide refunds are excluded.

  • Advertising contributionBrand Development Fund: 2% of Gross Sales, paid weekly

Paid on the royalty schedule, separately from local advertising. The fund supports national and regional promotion; spending in your area need not match your contributions or directly benefit your location.

  • Local marketingAt least 5% of quarterly Gross Sales in year 1; 3% from year 2 onward

Provide proof of spending each quarter. Shortfalls are paid to the franchisor for the Brand Fund. Required cooperative contributions count toward local spending; cooperative fees are set by members with brand approval and have no cap if franchisor-owned locations control voting. Unapproved materials need prior approval.
