Upfront investment

Total initial investment

$168,825 – $399,500

USD. Assumes rented 800 to 1,200 sq. ft. premises with basic interior finishes. Includes the $60,000 fee and three months of working capital; excludes owner pay. Low equipment costs assume financing or leasing, not outright purchase. See the startup-budget FAQ for site-cost assumptions.

Initial franchise fee

$60,000

Normally counted within the total above, not added on top — confirm in the source.

USD. Nonrefundable and due in a lump sum at signing. Minnesota initial payments are deferred until the franchisor completes pre-opening obligations. Eligible U.S. veterans and first responders receive a $1,000 discount for their first business.

Selected fees

  • Royalty7% of Gross Sales, normally drafted weekly on Monday

Gross Sales includes business and medical-director agreement revenue, business-interruption insurance proceeds, deals and gift cards under brand calculation rules. Collected and remitted sales, use and service taxes are excluded. The franchisor may change payment frequency.

  • Advertising contribution2% of Gross Sales to the national Brand Development Fund

Uses the same Gross Sales definition as royalty. National contributions are separate from local spending, and the franchisor does not promise to spend them in your market.

  • Local marketing$2,500 minimum per month, spent in your territory

Marketing materials require franchisor review and approval. You must document local expenditures quarterly if requested. Royalty and marketing are selected major obligations, not a complete operating budget.

These are selected fees, not the complete fee schedule. Review the full FDD for all fees and conditions.

Ownership and support

What owning this franchise involves

Your role

Business management and clinical decisions have separate roles, with state law governing how they fit together.

Owner involvement
You or your Designated Principal must actively manage unless a franchisor-approved manager oversees the business.
Main responsibilities
Provide business and administrative support without directing clinical care unless state law permits.
Manager requirements
Managers need no ownership stake; general and assistant managers must sign confidentiality covenants.
