Selected fees

  • Royalty7% of the preceding month's Gross Sales, paid monthly

Gross Sales includes revenue billed or invoiced even if uncollected, plus other business revenue. It excludes sales, use, and service taxes collected from customers and paid to taxing authorities. Payment is due by the 10th of the following month unless system standards specify otherwise.

  • Advertising contribution1% of Gross Sales monthly for the Marketing Fund

Uses the same Gross Sales basis and payment schedule as royalty. Separate local marketing spending is required.

  • Local marketingGreater of $2,500 community + $5,000 minimum digital/month or 3% of monthly Gross Sales

Starts 60 days before opening, separate from the Marketing Fund. Use approved activities; spending is reviewed over six months. The franchisor may collect and spend the requirement; shortfalls must go to the fund when directed. Required special campaigns and cooperative payments count toward local spending. Required design vendors cost extra, without credit toward the minimum.
