Selected fees
RoyaltyMonthly: greater of 8% of monthly Gross Sales or the applicable minimum.
No minimum applies for the first six months after opening, but the 8% royalty still applies. Minimums then apply per territory and rise with time and territory count. Renewal minimums start no lower than years 7 to 10 and may increase by up to 10% annually.
Advertising contributionPaid monthly: 2% of Gross Sales up to $500,000 annually; 1% above; $20,000 annual cap.
The annual sales thresholds determine the Brand Development Fund rates. This contribution is separate from local marketing and does not directly promote your business or territory.
Local marketingMonthly: greater of 3% of business Gross Sales or $750 per territory.
At least $500 per month must go to digital advertising. Marketing needs written approval; the franchisor may direct spending or require payment to it or a designated vendor. If a cooperative is established, participation is required. Contributions count toward local spending and cannot exceed that requirement.
