Investment and fees

What it costs to open and operate

Ask about investment and fees

Upfront investment

Total initial investment

$100,500 – $211,250

The USD estimate includes franchise and territory fees and $25,000-$40,000 for expenses before opening and the first three months. Office/workspace costs are excluded; a separate office or retail site increases the investment. Additional funds may be needed.

Initial franchise fee

$19,950

Normally counted within the total above, not added on top — confirm in the source.

Due at signing and nonrefundable, the first-franchise fee includes initial training and the start-up package. Eligible veterans, active service members, and their spouses pay $16,958. A separate territory fee is also included in the opening estimate.

Selected fees

  • RoyaltyMonthly: greater of 3.5% of Gross Revenue or Tier 1 $2,500; Tier 2 $1,875; Tier 3 $1,250.

Prior-month revenue counts whether collected or not, at installation or 90 days after ordering, whichever is first. Minimums may increase each April 1 by up to the Consumer Price Index increase. Gray Area sales carry 3.5%, added to the oldest territory's revenue; a separate rate may be set.

  • Advertising contributionNational fund per territory/month: Tier 1 $1,000; Tier 2 $750; Tier 3 $500.

These rates apply below the contractual threshold of 1,500 U.S. franchises granted. At that threshold, monthly payments become Tier 1 $1,500, Tier 2 $1,125, and Tier 3 $750. Payments may increase each April 1 by up to the Consumer Price Index increase. Fund spending need not occur in your territory.

  • Local marketingPlace local advertising at your expense.

A required spending amount may be set in the future. Follow brand guidelines and templates. Advertising cooperatives may be required, with mandatory participation and contributions. Special assessments require written agreement from two-thirds of affected businesses.

These are selected fees, not the complete fee schedule. Review the full FDD for all fees and conditions.
