USD. Includes the franchise fee. Assumes a home office or small leased warehouse, with no leasehold improvements; excludes land acquisition and building construction. Lease costs vary with local conditions and terms. Includes three months of startup funds; additional expenses may arise.

USD. Due in one lump sum at signing and generally nonrefundable. Includes the initial sign set. If the franchisor terminates for failure to complete training satisfactorily within 60 days after signing, it retains half the fee and returns half.

Selected fees

  • Royalty25% of Gross Sales; from month 8 of the agreement, subject to seasonal monthly minimums.

    25% of Gross Sales, with no minimum in months 1-7. From month 8, pay the greater of 25% or seasonal monthly minimums: year 1 $60 to $170 by opening date; year 2 $123 to $330; years 3-5 and renewals $184 to $494. Gross Sales excludes sales tax, employee tips, rush and delivery fees.

  • Advertising contributionA separate Marketing Fund contribution may be required.

    Fund contributions are separate from local advertising. If required, monthly minimums apply. The franchisor may increase contributions on at least 30 days' written notice, up to 2% of Gross Sales, subject to monthly minimum payments.

  • Local marketingAt least $300 in months 1-12; $500 in months 13-24; $800 per 12-month period thereafter.

    Also provide at least 24 promotional yard greetings yearly and five promotional posts on each of Facebook and Instagram weekly. Spending minimums may rise on 30 days' written notice; shortfalls may be collected. If a cooperative is formed, membership and contributions are required in addition to local spending. Properly recorded promotional discounts may earn local marketing credit.
