Selected fees
Royalty6%/5%/4% of calendar-year Gross Sales, paid monthly, subject to annual minimums
6% on first $2,500,000; 5% on next $2,500,000; 4% above $5,000,000. Tiers reset each January. Gross Sales include residential and commercial labor, materials and services, including subcontractor work. Pay the greater of rates or minimums. Renewal minimums increase under the renewal policy.
Advertising contribution3% of Gross Sales if annual sales are $2,500,000 or less; 2% if higher, paid monthly
The General Advertising Fund rate depends on total annual Gross Sales. Fund contributions count toward required local marketing spending. The fund does not have to spend a specific amount in your territory.
Local marketing12% of Gross Sales in the first year; local marketing spending remains required afterward
Applies to new and purchased businesses. Fund contributions and cooperative payments count toward required spending. You must join an established cooperative for your area; members set assessments of 1% to 4% of Gross Sales. Unspent required amounts must be paid to the fund. Your own advertising needs written approval.
