Investment and fees
Upfront investment
$147,750 – $273,175
USD estimate includes the minimum territory fee and three months of start-up funds. The low end assumes an existing similar business, vehicle and much of the equipment; the high end assumes no existing business and includes a vehicle purchase. Larger territories may need more vehicles and equipment.
$63,750
Normally counted within the total above, not added on top — confirm in the source.
USD minimum for 150,000 people. Nonrefundable and due in full at signing. Additional territory costs $425 per 1,000 people, prorated for smaller increments. Discount eligibility rules apply; only VetFran can reduce this standard minimum.
Selected fees
Pay the greater of the percentage fee or weekly minimum: $100-$600 in weeks 40-78, $100-$800 in weeks 79-208, then $100-$1,400. Minimums vary by territory population; bands above 350,000 do not apply to new franchisees. Roll-ins have separate schedules.
Separate from local marketing spending. Eligible roll-ins have lower rates for the first 78 weeks and separate minimums. The fund supports brand advertising and marketing; it need not spend a particular amount in your territory.
Afterward, annual approved spending may be required at the greater of $25,000 or 8% of prior-year Gross Sales. Separate from MAP fees. Required local group contributions, if a group is established, count toward the local minimum but are not limited by it. Shortfalls may be collected. The opening estimate already includes marketing spending; do not add the first-year requirement again.
These are selected fees, not the complete fee schedule. Review the full FDD for all fees and conditions.
