Upfront investment

Total initial investment

$105,400 – $140,525

USD. Includes the franchise fee, $10,000 launch marketing and $10,000-$20,000 for at least three months of owner-operated expenses. More cash may be needed; costs vary by market and location. The mobile startup-budget FAQ also applies to the combined estimate.

Initial franchise fee

$49,500

Normally counted within the total above, not added on top — confirm in the source.

USD. Standard fee for the initial territory, due in a lump sum at signing and nonrefundable. Qualified veterans receive a 10% first-business discount that cannot be combined with other discounts. Simultaneous purchases receive discounts on later businesses.

Selected fees

  • Royalty7% of prior-month Gross Revenue, due monthly by the 15th

Gross Revenue includes operating receipts, promotional allowances and referral rebates, plus revenue imputed for business-interruption claims. Payment-processing fees cannot be deducted. Royalty rises to 9% if you continue operating after the agreement expires.

  • Advertising contribution3% of prior-month Gross Revenue, due monthly by the 15th

Separate from local spending. Gross Revenue excludes actual customer returns and credits, taxes collected and paid to authorities, and supplier rebates negotiated by Poolwerx and paid directly to the business. Fund spending need not benefit each franchise directly or proportionately.

  • Local marketingMonthly minimum: 1% of prior-month Gross Revenue for mobile only; 2% once the store opens

Spend separately from the Brand Fund on approved local marketing. Poolwerx may modify first-year launch plans and annual local spending requirements. If a local cooperative is established, contributions are $1,650 per territory annually, paid quarterly in advance; members may vote to change the amount.

These are selected fees, not the complete fee schedule. Review the full FDD for all fees and conditions.
