Separate from local spending. New approved products or services may carry different royalty and Brand Fund rates. Their combined increase is capped at three percentage points above the otherwise applicable rates. Brand Fund spending need not benefit your territory directly.
Local marketingGreater of 3% of prior-month Gross Revenue or $3,000 per month
The rate may rise to 4% with 90 days' written notice. Seasonal monthly adjustments need written permission; the franchisor can still require $3,000 monthly after the $36,000 annual target is met. Shortfalls may be collected. Required channels or suppliers may apply. A future advertising cooperative could require additional spending.
